5 Reasons Why This Sleep Hack Will Transform Your Health

1. Mouth Breathing Is Ruining Your Life… This Is How You Stop

Taping your mouth at night seems f**king crazy, everyone thinks that at first, but when you find out why it makes sense and you give it a go, it will change your sleep forever. Studies show over 90% of the population are habitual mouth breathers during sleep.

When we fall asleep the muscles in the face relax causing the mouth to open, as a result you will breathe through your mouth for the remainder of the night. Mouth breathing will destroy your sleep quality, create deformities in your facial structure and make you snore. When you tape your mouth at night you are forced to breathe through your nose. Mouth taping at night makes Nasal Breathing your new habit throughout the day.

2. Increased Deep Sleep and Sleep Quality

Nasal Breathing will increase Deep Sleep and Sleep Quality, it will also decrease the time it takes you to fall asleep as it will put you in a much more relaxed state.

Better quality sleep will result in increased cognitive function and have you feeling razor sharp all day long (no more brain fog). Being well rested will also drastically decrease stress and anxiety. Nasal Breathing will lead to improved oxygen levels in our blood, as well as help you maintain a balanced heart rate and blood pressure, all of these are crucial for sleep quality.

3. No More Snoring and Dry Mouth

How we breathe during sleep will determine if we snore or not. Having your mouth open will create vibrations in your throat which makes the loud and annoying noise that we know as snoring. Taping your mouth and keeping your lips sealed guarantees you will never snore again.

Breathing through your nose aids in filtering out dust and harmful allergens, whereas mouth breathing can give you a dry mouth which can lead to bad breath and tooth decay.

4. Improved Jawline and Facial Structure

Studies have shown that habitual Mouth Breathing will change the shape of your skull, creating an elongated and narrow facial shape. On the other hand Nasal Breathing will encourage the opposite, it activates muscles surrounding our Jaw and over time making positive changes to facial aesthetics, creating a sharp Jaw Line.

5. Decreased Chances of Getting Sick and Boosted Immune System

Studies show Nasal Breathing boosts Nitric Oxide up to 6 times as much as Mouth Breathing. Nitric Oxide is a molecule that kills viruses and bacteria.

The nose filters, warms and humidifies air before it reaches the lower respiratory tract, decreasing your chances of catching diseases such as the common cold and flu.

Honest Review

After seeing these all over my Facebook feed I was keen to give these a go. My concerns were that it would rip off my moustache and also that it might not actually do anything. The tape stuck well to my lips so it didn't fall off but it also didn't rip my facial hair off in the morning. I woke up feeling noticabley more refreshed than normal. Keen to keep using these.
